These are wonderful patterns with the best instructions I have ever seen. Most of them come in a full size 8-1/2'' x 11" pattern. We've brought in a nice selection which I am itching to stitch.... You can find them here..                                     Also new for us are wool applique patterns by CARDIFF FARMS. I just love these!  They lend themselves so well to hand dyed wools. Lots to choose from the botanical series. This company also puts out some wool pocket patterns which are such fun to make. You can find them here.                                      New wool bundles from Moda - Limited Quantity. We have also brought in the new Twisted Tweed colours, which add some real interest to your wool projects! You can find all the different ones located here in numerical order...                                          May 30th, 2013     We are now stocking Hartman Hooks for Primitive Rug Hooking...We have 5 different hooks. They are a nice quality hook made in Ireland with beautiful wooden handles and strong shanks. I especialy like the 8mm ERGO for my rug hooking needs. It really opens up the background. You can find them here.                        May 27th, 2013     New Crane wool applique and punch needle patterns have arrived. Applique patterns can be found here. We have also added to the Birds in the Backyard series with 3 new Punch needle patterns - found here.                                                               May 13th, 2013   Introducing the work of folk artist Shelly Atkinson of Nova Scotia. She has taken her paintings and translated them to rug hooking patterns. They are whimsical and fun. You can find them under "Rug Hooking". You can find them under "Rug Hooking".                    New Hand Dyed wool bundles have just been listed....                                              Other New Items to the Website in the past Months   Just arrived.....Wool applique patterns by Ginger Sanchez. I have loved her patterns for years. They lend themselves so well to wool applique. We'll be introducing wool kits that you can buy with the pattern in the next couple of weeks. These patterns can be found under Wool Applique.           Introducing a line of Deanne Fitzpatrick blank cards...wonderful cards produced by Deanne with pictures of her rugs and a poem. These are wonderful to send to hooking friends for special occasions or just buy yourself some frames and have a collection of some of your favourite Deanne rugs! These can be found under the category CARDS ETC.                                    Introducing six new colours in the product line Red Island Wool Threads. They can be found in the " New at the Shop " page or under Wool Threads. New colours are: Summer Sky, Lichen, Poppy Fields, Ocean Sunset, Terra Cotta and Island Teal. I use these for my punchneedle projects as I love the look of a wool finish versus a cotton one.                             3 new colours of Aurifil have now been listed in the shop. These are the threads I use for my wool applique projects. I like to use the same colour throughout as I find it brings the whole piece together. We have  brought in a heathereed brown called Badlands and two blue greys - Night Sail and Night Magic.
