Moonlight Skate Punch Needle Winter Scene Original Design

This punch needle piece is an original Fully Wooly Primitives needlework design that uses my own hand dyed wool threads (Red Island Threads).

It shows a family of snow people using an old skate to have a moonlight stroll in the still of a cold night. Momma sits in the skate while baby sits on the toe as Daddy pushes the skate across the frozen lake. I have added fir trees and a border of vintage flowers to frame the scene. This was a fun piece to do!

The green wooden frame is an old vintage frame picked up in an antique store. The piece is bordered by a reproduction antique cotton fabric in a deep burgundy with green and yellow highlights. Sheep on Wool Purse

I did something a little different. I purchased these wonderful Fair Trade 100% wool felted mini purses from Nepal and used them as a background for my original punch needle designs. All the designs are done with hand dyed cotton threads and are sewn onto the wool mini purses.

Each purse is zippered and I have added some glass beads and felted beads to the zipper pull. This clutch measures 4 x 6 inches and is lined but has no key ring. These are one of a kind and are perfect for holding small items for example as a change purse or for small needlework necessities.

Witch's Night Out - Midnight Haunting

This punch needle measures 12"x13" and was done using my own hand dyed wools Red Island Threads. These are available under threads. Pattern for this design is available. Sorry I am Sold.
