Blackened Beeswax Halloween Cats ~ SOLD
These little Halloween kitties have blackened beeswax heads that have been made into little plump cloth dolls. They measure 6” x 8” from tip to tip. Their bodies are made of simple cotton homespun that has been grunged. The legs and arms are twigs while each kitty has a collar of vintage tinsel and a rusty bell around its neck. The whiskers are rusty wire and each kitty has a rusty safety pin on the back if you wanted to hang it – it would look great just tucked in amongst your primitives.
I have added a little muslin bag that has a reproduction of an old antique postcard on the front. Dried botanicals of sweet annie, orange pip berries and lavender fill the bags. These are so cute and I love the way they have turned out. Inspired by the pattern from Homespun Heart Primitives.

Beeswax Angels$18.00
These angels were a lot of fun to make and look so pretty hanging on a tree! They are made from beeswax one is darkened while the other is the natural colour - your choice.
The darkened one is scented with Harvest Spice - fruits, nuts and spices reminiscent of the fall season. The natural one is done with Ode Tyme Cabin - a sweet smelling fragrance of apples and spices, caramel and brown sugar with oatmeal. Perfect for a cold winter's morning.
Both angels are done with a homespun muslin that has been washed and grunged in either a green or gold paint . Around their necks is a strand of old fashion tinsel while they carry a bouquet of winter pipberries and sweet annie. The wings are made of antique lace from the late 1800's that has been aged and scattered with German glass glitter. Included is a round tag that says Angel. The angels measure 6" x 7". This little sweetie can be yours for $18.00 + $5.50 postage or two for $30.00 plus shipping. What a lovely gift they would make for that special person whether it be a friend or yourself. Olde Yuletide Crow on on Rusty Spring ~ $38.00
This is a great prim crow that has had his body grunged with tea, baked, coffee stained, painted, sanded and antiqued. This poor old fellow shows the strains of time. He sits on a rusty bed spring with a distressed wooden mustard star attached by sisal rope to his perch. I try to keep my make do designs as simple as possible- after all years ago they did not have all the tools we have now to embellish. He sports a red plaid piece of hand dyed wool and a rusty skeleton key around his neck. He has buttons for eyes and I have also stuck an antique hat pin from the Edwardian period in his body. Of course he comes with one of our prim hang tags attached to a rusty pin that says OLDE CROW..

Hooked Star Mug Rug with Muslin Bag
This is such a wonderful little rug measuring 7“x7“. I call them mug rugs (courtesy of one of my customers). They are so versatile and can be used as a little accent piece just about anywhere. Included with this is a muslin bag, which says Happiness is a Homespun Christmas. Great to store your mug and to use with your rug mug or fuill with little goodies for gift giving. Edges are finished with black twill tape that has been turned under. Comes signed and date.
