A Mother's Posies - Original FWP Design - SOLD

This is a one of a kind 22 x 24 inch rug that I have hooked on linen, using some of my own hand dyed wools. The background was done in a caramel swirl wool while I used eggplant, apple butter and black eyed susan colours for the other elements. The leaves were done in a green British Plaid. While at Dorr Mills I fell in love with a wonderful British Plaid and just had to put some of that in my rug - so it became the border. Originally there was not supposed to be one but I think it finishes off the rug nicely.

The edges are turned under and secured to the back with black twill tape. The piece comes signed and dated as an original. A lot of fabric, time and heart went into making this rug. The picture does not do it justice really!

Guarding the Pumpkin Patch - Original FWP Design

This is an original design of mine that I have hooked on linen and measures 9" x 13".

I used 100% wool yarn from Maine and I think it has turned out really wonderful using the yarn. Usually I hook with wool fabric but thought I would try yarn for this piece. It certainly gives it a different but very primitive look! The yarn is a tweed mxture and is dyed in lovely faded colours. The edging is black binding that is turned over to the back and stitched in place - the old fashion way. The piece comes signed and dated as a Fully Wooly Primitives.

What a nice addition to anyone's primitive decor - especially lovely on a side table. Price on this rug is 74.00 and it includes shipping to a USA location. All others please inquire.

A WYNTER RUG - A Tale of Two Friends- $265.00

Wynter Friends is 18" x 26" and has been hooked on primitive linen - for long lasting wearability. There are lots of different wool colours and textures used in this rug. The lamb's tongues making up one of the borders is done using 8 different browns including some British plaids. The inner background is a hit and miss melee of blues while Mr. Snowman is done using my own hand dyed wool called Dirty Snow. The edges are corded and whip stitched with 100% wool yarn and edged on the back with black twill tape. This rug would be wonderful on a wall or an antique table. I really enjoyed making this rug and it can hang all winter, because as you know snowman don't melt until the first spring thaw... It would be a very nice addition to your seasonal primitive decor. I believe in offering a product that has quality workmanship and it does not leave my home unless I absolutely love it too. A lot of heart goes into every piece I hook. This original piece will come signed and dated.

Crow and Mistletoe - SORRY SOLD

This 10" X 29" Original design primitive rug was done using my own hand dyed wools. I overdyed a Glen Plaid with two different shades for the background to come up with all the variances in the wool. The crows are done in a faded black while the leaves were hooked using 3-4 greens. It is done on Scottish premium burlap with whipstitched edges using a wool yarn and black twill tape. This rug comes signed and dated as an original piece. It looks lovely on an antique side table and can be used the whole winter season – a spot of colour!

Snowman with Gift Bag

This little mat measures approximately 7.5 x 7.5 and is hooked on premium Scottish burlap using a primitive cut of wool. It is called my little Star Gazer and looks so prim tucked into a collection of seasonal primitives. The edges are done with black twill brought to the back and secured.

With this adorable little mat you will get a Christmas hang tag and the drawstring bag shown, which says “ Snowballs for Sale 5 cents”. All set for gift giving!

Christmas Star & Coasters

This is an original Fully Wooly Primitives design of a Christmas Star rug measuring approximately 10” x 9.5” done up in all sorts of reds and golds. The four coasters measure 5” x 5” and are done in two different log cabin quilt designs. All pieces were hooked on primitive linen and are edged with black twill tape turned to the back.

With this set comes a Christmas hang tag and the bag you see that has written on it in old fashioned Christmas lettering “Happiness is a Homespun Christmas”. What a great gift this would make for your favourite person or why don’t you spoil yourself!

2 HARES & 4 BASKETS - SOLD

This hand hooked rug is an original Fully Wooly Primitives Design. It is 12"x34" hooked on premium Scottish burlap using 100% wool - most of it my own hand dyes. Tha background is done in an overdyed blue plaid along with some as is grey wool. I used a caramel swirl for the hares, while the old fashioned baskets are done in two different shades of 4 colours - fasded pink, spring green, easter yellow and spring violets.

This rug was done to celebrate the coming of spring. The edges are whipstitched and secured with black twill tape. The rug will come signed and dated.

Price is $355.00 - shipping is included in the price of the rug for USA/Canada only. Rug has found a good home - thank you.
